Collection Process

In order to save your child’s Wharton’s Jelly/Cord Tissue stem cells utilizing Auxocell’s gold standard processing protocols you must elect to save your cord blood with one of our partner cord blood banks.  Once enrolled with one of partners, you will be sent a collection kit with detailed instructions on how to collect both the cord blood as well as the Wharton’s Jelly/Cord Tissue.

A major difference between Auxocell and other Wharton's Jelly/Cord Tissue stem cell companies is that we provide a high quality stem cell product that is ready to be used for transplantation immediately.  Other companies that only save chunks of the tissue will not have a transplantable cellular product for up to 30 days post thaw. Our patented propriety processing method requires that you collect the entire umbilical cord as our process saves all of the cells from the Wharton’s Jelly/Cord Tissue. It is essential to ask your physician to collect the entire umbilical cord.  The more tissue, the more stem cells you will be able to save. 

Working with an Auxocell partner cord blood bank will also provide you with the piece of mind and added benefit of knowing that should you need to expand your Wharton’s Jelly/Cord Tissue stem cells that you are able to do so following Auxocell’s patented processing protocols.
